Main House Rooms

The main house is our family home that we run as a bed and breakfast. We enjoy meeting people and sharing our experience of the area. Our home provides old world charm, stunning scenery and two very friendly spaniels, called Bramble and Rafiki.

Guests at the House can enjoy the daily house keeping service which is included in the cost. We source breakfast as locally as possible including eggs from our chickens. Special diets can be catered for with prior arrangement. Additional catering can be arranged prior to your stay.

We have 3 double bedrooms in the main house and also two independent cottages, The Stables and The Coach House.

Your booking will be confirmed on receipt of payment.
Seven days cancellation is required for a refund. If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival you will receive a 50% refund.

The Coach House

Short-Term Let Licence WL-00019-F

“The Coach House” is our newest property which is a perfect choice for a relaxing and calm get away. The property can cater for up to 8 people with 3 bedrooms (1 x king room, 2 king/ twin rooms and 1 sofa bed), 3 bathrooms, a sitting room and a well-equipped kitchen. The Coach House is within the grounds of Harburn Estate so is a perfect choice if you are visiting us for an event or looking to have a family gathering. If you are looking to have more than 8 people, have you seen our adjacent property The Stables which can sleep up to an additional 11 people?

Our property includes:

Private Bath/Shower Rooms
Bed linen and towels provided
Toiletries
Hair dryers
Sky TV + DVD player
Free Wifi
Selection of kids toys, books and games

Guests at The Coach House are free to enjoy the beautiful grounds and our friendly staff can suggest walking routes and picnic sites if you wish.

There are steps in various places within the building and unfortunately The Coach House does not have wheelchair access.

The Coach House is non-smoking accommodation throughout.

Availability and Rates

Low Season 1st November – 31st March excluding Christmas and New Year January – £300 per night (for 2 nights) or £250 per night for 3+ nights.

High Season (1st April – 31st October) – £350 per night for 2 nights or £300 per night for 3+ nights

Please note there is a minimum of 2 nights when booking The Coach House.

A 50% deposit (£150 is non-refundable) is needed to confirm your booking. The remaining 50% is payable 6 weeks before your booking.

Our Cancellation Policy – More than 6 weeks notice to cancel will receive a full refund except the £150 non-refundable deposit. 1-6 weeks notice, your full deposit will not be refunded. If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival you will not receive any refund.

The Stables

If you are looking for a quiet and cosy getaway then the “The Stables” is a wonderful choice. It can cater for up to 11 people with 5 bedrooms (1 family room, 2 doubles and 2 twin rooms), 4 bathrooms, a sitting room and a well-equipped kitchen.

The Stables are within the grounds of the Estate and make the perfect choice if you are visiting for an event or looking to have a family gathering. If you are a group of more than 11 people the you may want to consider our adjacent property which is called The Coach House which can sleep up to an additional 8 people.

The Stables property includes:

Private bathrooms

Toiletries
Hair dryers
Sky TV + DVD player
Free Wifi
Selection of kids toys, books and games

Guests at the Stables are free to enjoy the beautiful grounds within the Estate and our friendly staff can suggest walking routes and picnic sites if you wish.
